Tvitec Ventanas has manufactured more than 2,000 units of the Cor 70 Evolution Series for the expansion of the 12 de Octubre University Hospital in Madrid. From the modern window and modular façade plant in the Bayo industrial area, in Cubillos del Sil, 2,074 windows were supplied for the project carried out by the construction company Sacyr.
This Tvitec Ventanas series, both for its high-quality carpentry and its performance, is especially suitable for projects of this service level, where maximum sustainability and energy efficiency are pursued.
Tvitec’s comprehensive capacity as a leading international processor of high-performance glass was demonstrated in this demanding project by incorporating double glazing into the windows, promoting high natural light transmission combined with excellent solar control and a neutral aesthetic.
For Tvitec Ventanas, it has been an honor to collaborate with Sacyr on a cutting-edge hospital project in Spain. The renovation of the 12 de Octubre Hospital had a budget of 227 million euros and has added more than 700 rooms to the public healthcare system.
